Aquí pueden ver la solución posible para el problema de la basura en las playas de La Bahía de Jaltemba, Nayarit. Este maquina va limpiando la playa juntando todo el plástico, cristal etc.
Unas personas han expresado preocupación sobre el efecto negativo del uso de este maquina en la playa de Rincón de Guayabitos para las tortugas. En mi opinión personal, la basura que entra al mar desde esta playa turística tiene un efecto mucho más fuerte que el uso del maquina, no solo para las tortugas pero para todo la fauna marina. Este temporada solo hemos encontrados 10 nidos de tortuga marina en la playa de Rincón de Guayabitos, los cuales están incubadas en cajas de unicel. Si hubo un nido “in situ” en la playa la maquina no puede alcanzar la profundidad del nido.

Some people have expressed concern of the possible negative effects on the turtles that nest on the beach of Rincon de Guayabitos. Personally I think that the plastic that enters the sea from this beach is a greater danger to not only the sea turtles but all of the marine fauna in the area than the beach cleaner. This season we have only collected 10 nests from Guayabitos beach all of which are incubated in polystyrene boxes. Even if we were to leave a nest “in situ” the beach cleaner does not disturb the sand at the depth at which nests are located.
